Welcome to the Wauseon Police Department website. Wauseon (population 7,400) is the county seat of Fulton County and is located in the northwest corner of Ohio. The City is located about 30 miles west of Toledo, Ohio.
Fourteen full time Officers, four part time Officers, and nine Auxiliary Officers currently staff our Department. We also have a Police Chaplin and five civilian personnel that run the office.
All of our Officers are trained in specialized fields such as Crime Scene Investigation, K-9 Handler, Polygraphist, Bike Patrol, School Resource Officer, and much more.
