Wauseon Youth Police Academy

Do you have an interest in Law Enforcement?

Are you a 6th grader through 11th grade?

The Wauseon Police Department will be hosting a Youth Police Academy in the Summer of 2010.

The Academy course will cover:

Introduction to Law Enforcement

Crash Investigation

Bike Patrol

DUI Apprehension

Firearms Training

Traffic Stops

and various topics related to Law Enforcement.

All successful graduates will be granted a 8 hour ride along with a Officer from the Wauseon Police Department. Students will be required to have parental permission and waiver before the start of the Academy.
